A female indicted with stalking Kate McCann reportedly left her a recorded message which questioned: "suppose I am Madeleine?"

Julia Wandelt, twenty-four, who court testimony revealed has persistently claimed she was the missing Madeleine McCann, and Karen Spragg are on trial indicted with stalking Kate and Gerry McCann from June 2022 and February the current year.

On Monday, Leicester Crown Court learned communication data and data retrieved from phones recorded Ms Wandelt consistently requesting Madeleine's mother for a genetic test throughout 2023 and 2024.

The jury was advised that through electronic messages, text messages and calls, Ms Wandelt demanded a biological test, forwarded childhood photos to her phone in a attempt to show a resemblance to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and asserted to have "flashbacks" from a early life with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, a data specialist with law enforcement who gathered the data, informed the court there "seemed to lack any responses" from Mrs McCann.
